From the moment I arrived at The Palomar Cincinnati, it was clear this day was about something bigger than a wedding. Jaxon and Carley didn't just celebrate their love — they celebrated their faith, their families, and the community of people who have walked alongside them. Christ was at the center of everything, and you could feel it in every room.
The Palomar itself is stunning — a restored 1884 limestone cathedral in Cincinnati's Walnut Hills neighborhood with soaring ceilings, gothic arched windows, and those iconic stained-glass double doors. Carley got into her dress surrounded by her mom and her girls, Jaxon waited for her at their first look with the kind of quiet anticipation that makes you hold your breath behind the camera. And when 200 guests gathered for the ceremony, what happened next was one of those moments I won't forget — the entire room lifted their voices in prayer over this couple. Together. All at once. I had to remind myself to keep shooting.
The joy from that moment carried straight through to the reception at the Fort Thomas Mess Hall — a historic 1891 venue tucked into Tower Park just across the river in Northern Kentucky, warm and full of character. The speeches, the dancing, the donut cake cutting, the golden hour light — all of it felt like an overflow of what had already been poured into that ceremony. Family was everywhere, and it showed. These are people who love each other well.
Jaxon and Carley, it was the highest honor to document your day. Praying blessing over your marriage and every chapter ahead. 🤍
